CLASS OVERVIEW

During the 2024-2025 school year, students will be actively engaged in addressing the academic, behavioral, and social goals addressed in each student’s Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).  All students participate in the general education curriculum in 7^th grade. 

Students receive special education services in the general education classroom (Inclusion), where the exceptional education teacher will support the students to be successful in participating in the general education curriculum as well as helping them reach the specific goals specified on their IEP. 

Results from curriculum and norm-based assessments, and formative and summative assessments will be used to ensure success.  A copy of the accommodations page is provided to the appropriate general education teachers with an explanation of accommodation and the areas of responsibility of the general education teacher.
